Blessed hadith

نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہماری صفیں سیدھی کرتے تھے۔ چنانچہ ایک دن آپ ﷺنکلے تو دیکھا کہ ایک شخص کا سینہ لوگوں سے آگےنکلا ہوا ہے، 

فرمایا :

تم اپنی صفیں سیدھی رکھو وگرنہ اللہ تمہارے درمیان اختلاف پیدا فرما دے گا۔

(جامع ترمذی،۲۲۷)

Nu'man bin Basheer (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) used to straighten our ranks. So one day when he went out, he saw that a person's chest was sticking out in front of the people.

He said:

Keep your ranks straight, otherwise Allah will create differences between you.

(Al-Tirmidhi, 227)

اس حدیث میں بیان کیا گیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ہمیشہ اپنی صفوں کو سیدھا کرتے تھے اور ایک دن وہ دیکھا کہ کسی شخص کا سینہ صفوں سے آگے نکل رہا ہے۔ اس پر حضورِ اکرم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ تم اپنی صفوں کو سیدھا رکھو، ورنہ اللہ تمہارے درمیان اختلاف پیدا کر سکتا ہے۔

اس حدیث سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے اپنی امت کو متفقہ صفوں میں قائم رکھنے کی ترغیب دی تاکہ یہ اتحاد و یکسانیت برقرار رکھ سکیں۔ صفوں کو سیدھا رکھنے کا ایک ممکنہ مطلب یہ بھی ہے کہ لوگ ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ ایک درست طریقے سے خطاب کریں اور احترام سے پیش آئیں۔ البتہ، یہ حدیث عام اختلافات یا تجزیب کی صورت میں نہیں جاتی ہے بلکہ صفوں کی ترتیب کو سیدھا رکھنے کے لئے ہی بیان کی گئی ہے
