The Story of Prophet Noah (Nuh) Seeking Help from Allah (Surah Qamar 10)

Then Noah called out to his Lord, "I am overcome (so, O my Lord), help me."

Qamar: 10

The story of Noah (peace be upon him) is described in the Holy Quran. He was a prophet who was sent by Allah to guide his people. The people of Noah (peace be upon him) used to do a lot of cruelty because they did not accept his monotheistic message. It is mentioned in verse 10 of Surah Qamar of the Holy Quran: "I pray to my Lord that I am defeated and victorious." According to Hadith, Noah (peace be upon him) called out to his Lord and said, "I am overcome, so help me, O my Lord."This verse describes the incident when Noah (peace be upon him) had to fight with his people and he was defeated. On this, Noah (peace be upon him) requested help from his Lord Allah Ta'ala. "To be defeated" here means that Noah (peace be upon him) and his believers had to face weakness in front of the nation's disbelief and power. After Qamar: 10, the story of Noah (peace be upon him) continues in the Holy Qur’an where it is stated that Allah Almighty will punish him with justice and equity until the people are punished.
