On the authority of Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him
Du'a is suspended between the heavens and the earth, not a single bit of it goes up until you send salat (blessings) upon your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (Al-Tirmidhi, 486)عمر بن الخطاب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے۔
دعا آسمانوں اور زمین کے درمیان معلق ہے، اس کا ایک ذرہ بھی اوپر نہیں جاتا جب تک کہ آپ اپنے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر درود نہ بھیجیں۔
