 آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:

منافق کی تین نشانیاں ہیں ۔ جب بات کرے جھوٹ بولے، جب وعدہ کرے اس کے خلاف کرے اور جب اس کو امین بنایا جائے تو خیانت کرے۔ (صحیح بخاری، ۳۳)

it is said by Hazrat Muhammad peace be upon him: There are three signs of a hypocrite. When he speaks, he lies, when he makes a promise, he goes against it, and when he is made trustworthy, he betrays him. (Sahih Bukhari, 33)

جی ہاں، یہ حدیث درست ہے جو آپ نے حضرت محمد ﷺ کی نقل کی ہے۔ منافق کی تین نشانیاں دراصل اس کی خصوصیات ہیں جو اس کی فطرت کو بیان کرتی ہیں۔ یہاں تین نشانیاں درج ہیں:

1. جب بات کرے جھوٹ بولے: یہ مطلب ہے کہ منافق جھوٹ بولتا ہے اور دروغی کا استعمال کرتا ہے، نہ صرف اپنے اعمال کے بارے میں بلکہ دوسروں کے بارے میں بھی جھوٹ بولتا ہے۔

2. جب وعدہ کرے اس کے خلاف کرے: یہ مطلب ہے کہ منافق وعدے کرتا ہے مگر اس کے خلاف عمل کرتا ہے۔ وہ اپنے وعدوں کو نہیں پورا کرتا اور مکمل کرنے کی بجائے انہیں توڑ دیتا ہے۔

3. جب اس کو امین بنایا جائے تو خیانت کرے: یہ مطلب ہے کہ منافق کو امانت دی جائے تو وہ اس کی خیانت کرتا ہے۔ وہ امانت داری کے اہل نہیں ہوتا اور اعتماد کو توڑتا ہے۔

یہ نشانیاں منافقت کی بنیادی علامات ہیں جو حضرت محمد ﷺ نے بیان کیں تھے۔ یہ حدیث منافقت کو شناخت کرنے کا اہم طریقہ فراہم کرتی ہے۔
