وَلَا تُصَعِّـرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى الْاَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ اِنَّ اللّـٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُوْرٍ 

لوگوں سے اپنا رُخ نہ پھیر (قطع تعلق نہ کر) اور زمین پر اِترا کر نہ چل، بے شک اللّٰہ کسی متکبر ، شیخی بھگارنے والے کو پسند نہیں کرتا

لقمان : 18 

And don't open your cheeks to people, and don't walk on the earth with pleasure. Indeed, God does not love all the greedy. Do not turn your face away from people and do not walk on the ground, verily, Allah does not like an arrogant, boastful person. Luqman: 18

بہت ہی اچھا اقتباس حصہ ہے جو آپ نے لقمان (سورہ لقمان ، آیت نمبر 18) سے شیئر کیا ہے. یہ آیت منظورِ حقیقت ہے کہ اللّٰہ کسی متکبر اور گھمنڈی شخص کو پسند نہیں کرتا ہے. اللّٰہ تعالیٰ عنوانوں اور ذاتی عظمت کی خود مالک ہوتے ہیں اور وہ امتیازی اور خودبخود پسندی کو ناپسند کرتے ہیں. اسلام میں تواضع اور عجز ایک اخلاقی قیمت ہیں جو مؤمنین کو سمجھاتی ہے کہ ہم اللّٰہ کے سامنے خاک میں مل جاتے ہیں اور ہماری تمام عزت اور قدر صرف اور صرف اللّٰہ کے لئے ہے. شکریہ کے طور پر، یہ آیت ہمیں سمجھاتی ہے کہ ہمیں غرور اور گھمنڈ سے پرہیز کرنا چاہئے اور ہمیشہ اپنی ذاتیت کو کم ترین سطح پر رکھنا چاہئے. یہ ہمیں درست راستے پر لے کر جاتی ہے جہاں اللّٰہ کی خوشنودی اور برکت ہوتی ہے.
