دعا

 On the authority of Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him

Du'a is suspended between the heavens and the earth, not a single bit of it goes up until you send salat (blessings) upon your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

(Al-Tirmidhi, 486)

عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ

دعا آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان رکی رہتی ہے، اس میں سے ذرا سی بھی اوپر نہیں جاتی جب تک کہ تم اپنے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر صلاۃ ( درود ) نہیں بھیج لیتے۔
